ContractToCozy is currently operating in a limited pilot phase; features, availability, and pricing may change without the notice period that would apply to a generally available product.

3. Not a Contractor, Insurer, or Advisor

ContractToCozy is a software platform, not a licensed contractor, home inspector, insurance agent, financial advisor, or law firm. Providers listed or booked through the Service are independent third parties, not our employees or agents, and we do not guarantee the quality, safety, licensing, insurance, or legality of any Provider's work. Any agreement you enter into with a Provider is solely between you and that Provider.

4. AI-Generated Content

Certain features (including guidance summaries, cost and risk estimates, appliance and room analysis, and chat-based assistance) are generated in whole or in part using third-party AI models (currently Google Gemini). AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific situation, and is provided for informational purposes only — it is not professional financial, legal, structural, or safety advice. You should independently verify any AI-generated recommendation, and consult a licensed professional, before making decisions that affect your health, safety, or finances.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the property information, documents, photos, and other content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant ContractToCozy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display Your Content solely as necessary to operate and improve the Service, including sending it to AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to submit Your Content and that it does not infringe any third party's rights.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service (including by scraping, load-testing, or circumventing rate limits without authorization);
upload malicious code or content that infringes another party's rights; or
misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or impersonate a Provider or another user.

7. Fees

During the pilot phase, use of the Service is offered on the terms communicated to you at signup or invitation, which may include no charge. If we introduce paid plans or transaction fees, we will present the applicable pricing and obtain your agreement before charging you.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us or other users, or as needed to comply with law. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3–4 and 9–12) will survive.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE, OR ANY AI-GENERATED OUTPUT, WILL BE ACCURATE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR ERROR-FREE. AS A PILOT-STAGE PRODUCT, THE SERVICE MAY CONTAIN BUGS OR EXPERIENCE DOWNTIME.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONTRACT TO COZY AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ContractToCozy harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, or your interactions with a Provider.
